Marigot Bay
Drive through one of the largest banana plantations in the Windward Islands. Learn about the growing and harvesting process, enjoy samples of this smaller, but sweeter local flavor. Our next stop is at the top of Roseau Valley for some more of that Serenity rum punch and piton beer. "Sip" and enjoy this expansive valley of "green gold".
Plas Cassav
Head down the west coast roads, through the quaint villages of Anse La Ray and Canneries.Have cameras loaded and ready to capture the unique culture and village life of island people. If you are brave enough, we stop for a friendly greeting with a local boa who is ever ready to meet you. Next Stop is at Plas Cassav. Perhaps the only place you will experience a cultural phenomenon dating back over 600 years. You even get to try your hands on the process while your ambassador record your moment on film. The process of baking cassava bread is very much ancient, yet adding a modern day twist with a variety of tasty, protein rich flavors. From plain and natural to the popular cherry, cinnamon, sweet, spicy and chocolaty flavors. You are compelled to take some home with you. Taste and critic the flavor of banana ketchup and local spice rum and it's time for another round of open bar refreshments.
This stop is optional on the private option only & require a $3.00 fee for the processing tour and sampling.
At last it’s! lunch time
An authentic island cuisine will crown your experience with a buffet Creole lunch at the Beacon restaurant overlooking the gorgeous pitons. Even with eating and drinking throughout the tour, it is difficult to avoid this mouth watering buffet Creole feast, with the majestic pitons as your back drop. This is a true island experience.
